How it works

Remove floor(total × trim% ÷ 100) reviews from each tail, then average the remaining reviews.

The trim percentage applies to each tail separately. At 10%, up to 20% of reviews are removed in total. Counts are rounded down per tail. Removing extreme ratings can also exclude legitimate feedback; this is an analytical model, not fraud detection.

Results update as you type. Calculations run in your browser; submitting with JavaScript disabled sends the numbers to the server to calculate the result.
